We got our pumpkins

This year we tried a different pumpkin patch to get ready for the fall season. The boys had a wonderful time. They had so much fun that we didn't leave until after dark:o) I took advantage of it and took lots of photos as you will see. My little Rez has quite the range of expression and had his heart set on a pumpkin bigger than he is. To check out the photos we took the last couple years click HERE

more to come...

for smiles

Some not so recent memories but no matter how many times I see these they still make me smile.  Can you see why?

miss me?

It's really been a busy couple of months.  Took lots of pictures, but haven't had the time to process them.  Here is one of Rez.  I'll post more from this day later.

Happy Birthday Baby!

So my littlest man turned "1" and I really can't believe how fast this year has flown by.  Everyday we see new little pieces of his developing personality shine through and boy, are we in for some trouble.

Here are some classroom pics I took of him enjoying his first cake ever at school.  See the adorable birthday crown they made for him.

Unlike my other two sons, Rogan took to the cake very quickly and he devoured it two fistfuls at a time.

Happy Birthday Love!

Many Firsts *guest blog by Greg Geiger

Whassup? This is my first crack at blogging.  My wife finally gave in.  The Orange and Blue Debut 2008 was also a day of many firsts.  It was the first day for the Geiger Boys to see the Fighting Gators play in the Swamp.  The ESPN College Game Day crew was televising live and there were many prominent Gators present.  We had the opportunity to see and have our picture taken not only with Coach Urban Meyer's first national championship trophy from the 2006 season, but also with Tim Tebow's heisman trophy, the first ever to be won by a sophmore.

Not only did we get to see and pose with the trophies, Rez actually slipped under the chain and tried to hoist the national championship trophy.  Note my surprise as security is stepping in.  Another proud moment as a father, as everyone would like for their son to have the chance to raise the trophy high.  Reminds me of the inspirational words of Shane Falco, "Pain heals, chicks dig scars, but glory... lasts forever."  At least he didn't drop and break it like one of the recruits did a few days later!

Angels 'round me day and night.  Some are there for comfort and some are there for fight.  This is what guardian angels look like here in Gainesville.

Neo heard many stories that day of many gator greats and saw some new ones created.  Here's to many more.

GO GATORS!

Geesh...

How many milliseconds does it take for a child to either want something, need something or just realize you've stepped out of the room briefly to take care of nature's calling?

what on earth?

For fun, I recently got my camera and followed Rez around when he didn't know that I was watching. What I should have done was get my video camera because what I saw was quite entertaining. Unfortunately, the diaper was one of the first things to disappear during his free play adventure so here are just a couple of shots before he went El Commando on me.

Weekend at the beach

This past weekend we took a much needed break for just a couple days and went to the beach. The weather was predicted to be mostly rainy and in the 70s. I guess we got lucky! Here are some photos of our wonderful trip.

Click on the right corner and go to "Beach Album 2008" to get a better view.

p.s. this was Rez's first real trip to the beach. He was so excited to go but when it came time to check out the water he was having no part of it!

Our Rogan has added to his grin...there are now 2 shiny pearly whites with 4 working their way on down.  Has made for some not so restful nights at our house:o)

Sweetness

Just a recent fav of my brown eyed babe in the morning. He looks so sweet and innocent but those of us who know him, know better!

I'll be back soon

For those of you who check the blog regularly to see new pics of the boys we are on a brief hiatus. We are having computer issues at my house. My PC is all but dead with a load of viruses and a full memory it is now used only for "noggin computer" as my 3 year old puts it. I've gone Mac and in the next week or two should have the needed software to be fully functional again. So don't give up on us yet, I'll be back soon.

Here are a couple I managed to pull up from a while back.
